Arie(n) Ruitenberg, geboren in Zwaag, 14-12-1833, is in 1862 getrouwd met Maartje Kooter, 

zij kregen 7 kinderen (Cornelia, Martinus, Dirk, Pieter, Teunisje, Dirk en Antonia) waarvan de laatste in 1874 in Zwaag geboren werd. 

Daarna heb ik nergens meer iets van ze kunnen vinden in Zwaag (bij familysearch ook de 10-jarige tafels van de omringende plaatsen doorzocht, voorzover aanwezig). 

Heeft iemand enig idee waar en wanneer Arien en Maartje overleden kunnen zijn?

Kan natuurlijk altijd, maar was dat  gebruikelijk in die tijd? We hebben het wel over het eind van de 19e eeuw. Ik dacht dat de emigratie naar Canada en Australie vooral rond de jaren '50 van deze eeuw plaatsvond.
