Most entries documenting a birth have the parent’s names, the mother’s maiden name may not be there. I consider the data very valuable, although much work is needed to create a genealogy from the data. Searching requires cable software and many iterations. Data from the outlying islands (in my case Ternate) is sparse. I purchased the CDs from the CBG. Gio

What do you mean? In the almanak the names of the parents are not given. Of course in the official documents concerning birth (as filmed by FS) you can find the name of the father and mostly the name of the mother. The same for the marriage documents.
