hello all - am trying to find birth (marriage and death) information for Hendrik Hautgraaf (Houtgraaf) who married Alida van Abcoude (Abcouwe/Apkouw) they had several children - apparently both died/were buried in Velsen (Noorf-Holland) - no document found as yet

• (possible) first child Johannis Houtgraaff b 1753 - d 1811 Beverwijk (Noord-Holland) - no document found as yet

then several other children: 

• Alida H baptised NH/NG 3Oct 1756 Voorschoten,
• Jan Hendrick H baptised NH/NG 29Jan 1758 Voorschoten, followed by
• Hendrik H b 17Nov 1762 Amsterdam,
• Gerrit H bapt 3Feb 1771 Amsterdam and
• my ancestor Jacobus H b 17July 1773 Heemskerk (Noord-Holland)

can anyone help me?

Could you please explain, why you conclude, that he was born in Ueffeln?

hello Jan - this surprising fact comes from his second marriage notification - Amsterdam 24Sept 1789) (folio 176) - to Belia Hendrijna Kleijneveld

It looks like Hendrik was not the only one of his family who migrated into the Netherlands. I suggest to find out more about all the Holzgreve's in the vicinity of Amsterdam, before searching in Germany (which is extremely difficult). Only in Amsterdam itself there are a couple of interesting marriages.
