In the course of my search on my ancestors, I came across what appears to be some sort of marriage contract on my ancestors, Symon Pietersz Korver and Aecht Jacobs (see link below).
Can anyone shed some light (not a verbatim translation) on what this contract entails? Any references to the background, parentage of the bridge and groom?
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

A short response from a cursory reading:
Assisting the pair (Sijmon Pietersz Korver + Aecht Jacobs) are:
1. Father of groom: Pieter Woutersz Korver
2. Cousin of the groom: Matheus / Mathias Kinneman (lakenkoopman = cloth merchant) (name is not quite clear, the writing of the first name is from the signature and the second name is from the contract contents)
3. Mother of the bride: Dieuwer Allert
4. Brother of the bride: Allert Jacobsz
All persons living in Hensbroeck (currently called Hensbroek in the province of North-Holland)
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
Just some further details from this record.
The groom brings to the marriage one half of 7680 guilders, through inheritance from his mother, and one half of two-thirds of a piece of land called the Oosterveer (which in its enterity makes odd reading, it's 3 ... and 30 roeden(*)), located on the "Noortdijck in de banne van Ursem", this land coming from the groom's "bestevader".
The bride brings to the marriage, as promised by Dieuwer Allerts to be given as fathers inheritance, 700 guldens "tot xl grooten Vlaems t'stuck" in cash.
The rest is mostly concerned with setting up arrangements in case someone passes away.
