Huwelijk in Laren op 26.1.1749: Reint Broekman, onder Loghem heen, en de weduwe Fenneken Lenderinks tot Laren.

Forgotten!

Doopboek Lochem:

"00.03.1673 sal. Henrick Boenck uijt Laren Sijn Sone Henrick; Get. Arent Brandinck, Gerrit Mentinck en Marrie Cloosters".

G.Karssenberg - 5 jun 2014 - 11:01

Good morning! And thanks again and again!

So if I get it right, Teunis Lenderink and Fenneken Lenderinks (brother and sister?) get married to their respective partners on the same day - 15.9.1736, and 15 years later, both their partners (widowed by now?) are married to each other - Fenneken Boonk with Reijnt Broekman ( / te Broeke), and give birth to Teuntje (named after Teunis?). Wow... a topic for a movie... especially that we have now in the 20th century a Lenderink again in our family. (Actually for the first time, because both Teunis and F.Lenderink have "evaded" my direct ancestry line back then...)

And now we have Fenneken's father and grandfather, the Henriks. Thanks again!

May I ask what is "in Eexel" (is it a status, or a place's name?)?

And also - is Lochem/Loghem a place near/within Laren or an old name for Laren?

And could you send the link to the Laren archive? I did not find it via google.

It is amazing that your ancestor's brother and my 6th great grandmother have "shaken hands" 297 years ago...

Lochem? Laren (Geld.)? Exel? Zelhem? Google!

G.Karssenberg - 5 jun 2014 - 12:07

You can find scans of the archives in the Province of Gelderland on http://www.geldersarchief.nl/.

When searching with the name Boonk and place Laren, you will find a scan below the information (but its a long search to the right scan)

I followed the line Saurbeek:

Johannes Saurbeek (married to Aleida Praastink) died 4-5-1829 at Gouda

 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-12147-36328-18?cc=1576401&wc=9CHV-C6D:108150401,124085201

His son Johannes, 25 years, profession gold- and silverworker, notified the registration of the death of his father. He mentioned his age : 48 years and 1 month, his profession lock-keeper of the lock of the inner port. He lived and died on the Dubbele Buurt at the Port, his wife Alida Praastink was "tapster" (inn-keeper)

No parents were mentioned, but with the exact age it was easy to find his birth

04-04-1781 was baptised at Gouda Johannes , son of Johannes Sourbeek and Alida Goeting

I could not find the church records of the protestant marriages of Limmen on internet, but when I looked into the book with minutes of the churchcouncil I found the marriage:06-05-1779  Jan Saurbeek, j.m. van over Hallauw in Zwitzerland, living in Gouda and Alida Goeting, j.d. born in Amsterdam, but lately living in Limmen

Over Hallauw must be Oberhallau  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oberhallau

Good night!

Your findings are amazing! And as you wrote, we are family... That is truely amazing.

I did some of my homework, and saw most of the places mentioned in "our story" on the map and on Wiki.

I also succeeded to see the scans of the Gelselaar churchbook. If you would not have found it, and decyphered the handwriting for me, I would surely not have gotten to it. I hope I can one day contribute as well - to you or to Mieke or to Johanna (for example if you'll ever need to decypher/translate something in Hebrew or get to some documents here in my country, Israel).

So - many many thanks!

I can follow your transliteration and read Geertien's baptism of 1691 on page 40 of the churchbook.

The 2 first weddings I could not find/decypher... Is Gerrit's wedding in 1688 the one at the bottom of page 64?

Looking at that book, it seems the pastor was saving on ink and paper...

You can find information (in Dutch) about the farm Gerrit Berentsen and Aeltien Haevers were living in 1688, it's still existing

Search on Google with "Boerderij Broekgerrit"
