In het bevolkingsregister van Weert, periode 1910 - 1920 staat dat zij vertrokken zijn naar Noord Amerika verder niets, dus ik weet niet als zij naar Canada  of naar de VS zijn gegaan

Helaas weet ik niet wat er allemaal in de mail staat omdat ik de Engelse taal niet machtig ben want ik ben een leek op dat gebied, maar ik denk dat ik eruit kan opmaken dat Hubert Ramaker geboren op 15 Dec1913 overleden is in Jan 1978. Ik zal mijn zoon de mail eens sturen.  Nogmaals dank voor de moeite die heeft gedaan

Clarence P. Pfohl, 92, of ManorCare Health Services, formerly of 3501 Asbury Road, died at 10:35 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a parish and Knights of Columbus prayer service at 3 p.m.

Mr. Pfohl was an electrical supervisor at United Electric Co. from 1938 to 1954. In 1954, he established the C.P. Pfohl Electric Co.

He was born on June 17, 1914, in Holy Cross, Iowa, son of Peter Clarence and Mary (Friedman) Pfohl. He was the last surviving member of his family of 10.

He married his sweetheart, Gertrude Ramaker, on Feb. 6, 1937, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Dubuque, Ill. They were married for 54 years until her death on Oct. 28, 1991.

He was a member of St. Mary's Parish and served as an usher and was a member of their first parish council. Clarence was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 510; a Fourth Degree Knight of the DuBourg Assembly; a past member of the Serra Club of Dubuque; a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles; and past vice president of the State Electrical Contractors Association (N.E.C.A.). He served as president of the Dubuque Division of N.E.C.A.; was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 704; and he served on the board of the Adult Day Care at Stonehill Care Center.

Family members of Clarence and Gertrude's marriage are a son, Donald (Joan Hahlen) Pfohl; three daughters, Mary Ann (Pat) Lansing, Lavonne (Dr. Sam) Sullivan and Karen (David) Murphy; and 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

After some years of loneliness, he married Eileen Even on May 19, 1994, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dubuque. Surviving are Eileen; and her children, Dan, Rick, Nancy and Jane.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Louis, Raymond and Albert; and four sisters, Catherine Kirpes, Marie Carew, Matilda Backes and Margaret Thill.
