Resident Dies In Hospital. John Jacob Van Eyle, 80, who had been residing with his daughter, Mrs. Louise Pluister of 172C Fris Lane, died in a Billings hospital at p.m. Friday of infirmities of age and complications Mr. Van Eyle was born Sept. 22 1872, in Holland and came to the United States 20 years later. He lived in the Chicago vicinity nearly 60 years before residing with his daughter in Billings. He was a retired landscape gardener. Other survivors are a grand daughter, Mrs. Sam W. Stewart of the Billings address, and a brother and sister in The Netherlands. Mr. Van Eyle was a member of larvey Lodge 832, of Harvey, 111., and would have received his 50-year pin in the organization this spring. Mr. Van Eyle also was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Services will be conducted at Smith's Chapel at 10 a.m. Monday and the body will then be sent to Homewood, 111., for burial.
