Hello,

I recently found my ancestors online in the Overgenomen Delen done in Amsterdam. I need some assistance with regards to understanding a few of the abbreviated words found in the document.

Here (I hope!) is the document: Afbeeldingen zijn alleen zichtbaar als u bent ingelogd op het Stamboom Forum

The name of the family is: Hosman. They are the last family listed on this page.

I need help understanding under the column "Waarheen afgeschreven": what does "Eig. kaart" or "Eig krt" stand for? Under the same column, it lists some of the children with the word "Ambtshalve." What does this mean? It might help me figure out what happened to the children following the death of Gerardus and Ardina Versfelt.

Lastly, I need some help understanding the section "Adressen Binnen de Gemeente." It's my understanding that this lists the places of residence for the family from 1893-1906. However, what do the letters (i.e. WW, T, ZZ, etc.) mean, and what does the section with the word "Ring" refer to with the list of numbers and letters (i.e. 710/264 and K9/176)?

Thank you for your time and help!

Matt

Eigen kaart: Own card so they are no longer on the card of their father/mother as a family member.

Ambtshalve: means that the clerk has made the afministrative change as they found out the status of the person has changed (e.g. the person didn't live at the mentioned adress anymore and didn't report that to the administration him of herself)

the letters are an identification of the individual neighbourhoods
there are ancient maps of the city with these ID's

e.g.: http://cf.uba.uva.nl/nl/collecties/kaarten/strijd_om_ruimte/gfx/groot/cholera600.jpg

I assume the nummers are an ID for the registration book or microfiche  + page number within the fiche or book

Thank you as well for the map. I have been looking for something like that for a long time. This makes everything clearer to me as to where they lived.
