Hello,

In the year 1739, Wilre-Montenaken, Limburg, a baptism in the Roman Catholic church is dated as follows:

"Feria 2 post Dom Quinquagesima"

How does this Latin translate to English?  More importantly, what is the date of this baptism?

Two days after Dom Quinquagesima and that is explained here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinquagesima. They say it's the Sunday before Aswoensdag https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ash_Wednesday. So you will have to find out when the holidays were in that particular year to determine the exact date.

If I understand it well it would have been the 10th of February.
