Over the last few days I have noticed that the dates shown on openarchieven.nl are consistently in error by 1 day.
This seems to be new. EVERY record I have viewed over the last 2 days has shown this error (including records which were previously correct).
The dates on the index page seem correct, but when opening the record the date is incorrect.
I have checked this against scans of the original records.
As an example try searching "alphonsus adrianus martinus veltmans 1900" (my Opa).
The results page shows his birth date as 3 Sep 1900 (correct).
When clicking on his name to open the "person page", it shows his date of birth as 2 Sep 1900, which is wrong.
Another example try searching:-
"Wilhelmina Francisca Leonora Veltmans 1923"
The results page shows birth date 12 Oct 1923 (correct). Click the name to open the person page shows: born 11 Oct 2023 (again the day before).
For this entry there is easy access to the original scanned document (record 258 - bottom of page). Here you can see that the birth was registered "twaalf Oktober" and also that the birth was "twaalf October".
At first I was reporting these errors but after finding 5 consecutive errors, I stopped reporting, because it seems to be a general problem, that I did mention in the last error I reported.
Zoeken via browser Microsoft Edge hetzelfde probleem.
Thank you. It's helpful to no I'm not the only one!
Ik ervaar hetzelfde probleem. Datums bij het openen in Openarchieven zijn allemaal -1 dag ten opzichte van de akte op de bronwebsite.
Hier exact hetzelfde probleem. Kan hierover contact opgenomen worden met de sitebeheerder?
Goedenavond allemaal, ik heb het idee dat het probleem is opgelost. In ieder geval via Microsoft Edge.
Goed gezien, bij mij werkt het ook weer goed.
Yes, it seems to have been fixed for me too.
